Why can't I find the organization I'm looking for?

When you're setting up a fundraiser, you can search for and select a recipient organization from RallyUp's database of over 1.5 million nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations. Our list is updated every month to include organizations that have recently obtained their 501(c)(3) status.

However, in some cases you might not be able to find the organization you're looking for from our list. Here's what to do next:

If you work at the nonprofit or charitable group, you can register your organization with RallyUp. Click here to learn more about how to register your organization.

If you are an individual or business that is looking to raise funds for a nonprofit or charitable group, you will need to contact someone at the nonprofit and have them register their organization with RallyUp. This helps prevent fraud and ensures that the funds raised get sent to the right place. Follow these simple steps to get started:

Step 1: Contact the organization

Reach out to the organization you want to raise money for and let them know about the fundraiser you would like to run on their behalf. (If you’ve already done this, skip to step 2).

Here are some details you’ll want to share with them:

  • Your name and contact information
  • A description of the fundraiser you would like to run

Step 2: Provide instructions

The organization will first need to register on RallyUp if they haven’t already done so. You’ll want to send them the following link to help them get started:

Register your organization

After the organization has been registered and approved, you'll be able to select it from our search list when setting up your fundraiser.
