Restrict ticket sales by region
The raffle laws in our state only allow us to sell tickets within our state, but right now anyone from any state can come to our RallyUp page and purchase tickets. When that happens, we have to manually void that entry and refund the donor. It’d be nice if there was a way to prevent these people from buying tickets in the first place.

Linsay Chavez We're looking forward to using your service once this function to limit by region (state) is available. I don't see it listed in your updates per your link. You suggested it would be implemented in 2019. Is it still in your plan?

Shirley Alarie Hi there! Thanks for your continued interest in this feature. We do have a way to handle this currently through our payment processor Stripe and their "Radar" feature. Radar lets you set up a rule within your Stripe account to block all payments not in a specific geographic area.
The one downside to this method is that the rule is set at the Stripe-account level, and since you can only link one Stripe account to your RallyUp account it means that the "block" rule would apply to all payments and campaigns on your RallyUp account.
Adding more native region-locked ticket sales at the Campaign-level is something our team is still considering adding in the future. This would let you set region-lock rules for each campaign you set up.
